Future Billionaires

A founder community
for students who build.

Building together. By founders, for founders.

Real founders. Real conversations. No slides, no theory, no networking-event small talk. Future Billionaires is where ambitious students at the world's best universities meet, push each other, and build the things they keep talking about.

What the name means

Not billionaires in the way you think.

The name turns heads. It is meant to. But Future Billionaires is not about yachts, parties, or printing money. It is about building things that matter: companies that grow, products that last, ventures that give back. It is the people more than the wealth.

A community where ambition is loud, ego is quiet, and the people sitting next to you will be the ones who tell you the truth when it counts.

The manifesto

What we are. What we are not.

We are

Intimate, curated founder events

Twenty to forty people in a room. Not two hundred. Real conversations, not panel performances.

We are not

A lecture series

No textbook entrepreneurship. No talks about what a business model canvas is. Save that for class.

We are

Real founders, real talk

People building something now, telling you how it actually feels. The wins, the doubts, the pivots.

We are not

A networking event with name badges

No forced small talk. No swapping LinkedIn URLs in a corridor. Connections happen because the room is right.

We are

A WhatsApp-first community

Three hundred and thirteen members who actually know each other. Where you can ask a question and get a real answer in an hour.

We are not

A society that posts for the sake of posting

If we have something to say, we say it. If we do not, we do not. Quality over noise, always.

By the numbers

Built quietly. Grown by word of mouth.

Event history

What we have done so far.

Every FB event is built around one principle: put real founders in the room with the students who want to be them. The format changes. The standard does not.

Dec 2025

First Meetup

Ten people. A room. The first time we sat down together and realised there was something here worth building.

Winter Meetup

Same format, four times the room. Forty-five people, all building or thinking about it. Word had started to travel.

The Farewell Dinner

The last room of the academic year. Founders, operators and the people who had been in every room since the first ten. A close, not a launch, and the reason the next year had something to build on.

Past speakers

Founders who have sat with us.

We do not chase headline names. We chase honest ones. Real builders, in the middle of doing the thing, willing to tell the room what it actually takes.

Fireside, April 2026

Jaime van Rooyen

Founder, Amora. Designer of Halo.

Built Amora, a sustainable menstrual care brand, from a university project into a real startup. Design background, no formal business education. Pitched at John Lewis Partnership HQ as part of the LUinc. cohort. Speaks openly about learning to build a company while learning to run one.

Fireside, April 2026

Matt Roberts

Co-Founder & CEO, Hauze. Brand & Creative, Sentinel Photonics.

Two businesses killed by COVID. Almost started a design agency. Then Hauze, a shared-living app for spend-splitting and chore management, picked up momentum and he went all in. Also runs brand for a defence tech startup. A founder who has been told no enough times to know what yes feels like.

The community

Where it actually happens.

Events get people in the room. The community is what keeps them there. Future Billionaires lives on WhatsApp: 313 members, twenty or so who post most weeks, and a quiet group of builders behind them who read every message and message back when it counts.

Mindset over venture. You do not need a startup to join. You need ambition, the desire to build, and the patience to be part of something that grows slowly because it grows on quality, not noise.

Quality over quantity. We would rather be two hundred people who know each other than two thousand who do not.

What members say it feels like:

"I'm not alone."

"I need to come back."

Two things we hear after every event. They are also the only two things we are trying to make true.

The door is three questions wide.

Future Billionaires lives on WhatsApp. That is where the introductions happen, where the events get announced, and where someone answers at eleven at night when you are stuck on something. We keep it that way on purpose.
